From depressed to happy.

SO today has been a rough one. Radiohead (my favorite band ever) is playing very very close to my house tonight. I have no tickets and I cant afford the prices on craigslist. My Sister in law Carla sent me a video from the concert in WA last week, I cried for over an hour after seeing it.

My friend Cristina offered to pay for the tickets which is just SO sweet and I love her for it! But I cant go, and that's OK. When people say you make sacrifices for your kids....THIS is what they were talking about.

So to make myself feel better I called up my uncle who works on the Navy base here in San Diego. He can get me cheap Disneyland tickets. Both Trav and I have a day off on Sept 11 because our babysitter's son is having surgery. So we will spend the day in Disneyland with Ava. It will be her first trip so it should be a BLAST! I told her we were going to go and she said "See Princess Jasmine?" So I think she is ready :)

A customer came in today and said that she just took her 2 year old and they have special maps with the attractions for toddlers. We will take full advantage of this! Plus Ava is tall enough to ride on most of the rides. Im happy now. :)

Yay for Disneyland! Boo for Radiohead! I hate when responsible parenting interferes with good music.

You're gonna have so much fun! Even at 50 I still love Disneyland. I can't wait to read all about it. Have fun with Jasmine, Ava!

If it makes you feel any better, I could go to radiohead when they were here because we have no babysitter. No one would watch our kids at all. I know it doesn't help, but I love you! I'm so glad that you guys get to go to Disney, Ava will have so much fun and that means you will too!

I feel so bad about Radiohead. After you move here we are for sure going to their next show, no matter how much it costs.
Anyway, Ava is going to have a blast at Disneyland. Thomas and me were talking about going to Disneyland later this year. Sooo....before you guys move up here we should take Ava, again. I also love going on the kid rides. They're the best...and they're kinda creepy.

I'm just going to say it and get it over with, and hopefully it will make you laugh because I'm a sarcastic bitch:

When god closes a door...

Congrats on scoring cheap Disneyland tickets! You guys are going to have a great time.

Glad your happy again. Disneyland is going to rock, my girls would cry for an hour if I told them Ava gets to go. She'll have so much fun! I can't wait to see the pictures.

Oh, and if it helps, I skipped the Project Revolution tour, Linkin Park and B.B. King this year because I was broke. Sometimes being responsible sucks.
